Bio
Étienne St-Jean, Ph.D. holds the Canada Research Chair in Entrepreneurial Career at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR). He is a full professor at the same university and co-director of the Research Institute on SMEs (INRPME). He is responsible for Quebec for the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, the largest survey of the entrepreneurial attitudes, aspirations and activities of citizens of several countries. He is also the associate editor of the Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, the oldest bilingual journal specializing in the field. His work focuses on entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial intention, the training, support and development of entrepreneurs through mentoring and entrepreneurship as a specific career. He published in French and English in scientific journals, in collective works and in numerous national and international conferences.
